Looking for advice when dealing with police
Content
Looking for advice when dealing with police I don't stutter, but I have twin sons who do. They're nearly driving age, and it stresses me out that if they get pulled over, their behavior might look suspicious to a police officer. One of them is more prone to repeating sounds, while the other is more prone to blocking. The latter makes me especially nervous. Not related to their stuttering, but worth mentioning because of the topic is that my children and I are not the same race. If an officer pulls over one of my boys in one of my cars, they'll see a picture of a white man on the registration. Approaching a young black man in the driver seat might already cause suspicion before the conversation even starts. Any advice for them and me to help keep them safe in these situations?
