One technique that worked for me is something that speech therapists called catching the block. When a block happens, as opposed to trying to force the word out, simply stop (aka "catch" it), relax, and then to ease into the word lightly. If this is difficult for you, you can practice by purposely blocking on words and using the technique. Sounds weird, I know, but it really helped me. Hope this helps!
