Hurts everytime

Hurts everytime I have moderate stutter if things are under control, my son is 6 years old and started stuttering from last few months. We are doing everything we can to help him like private Speech therapy, therapy at school, moderating his speech at home etc.. But every time he stutters I feel very sad and terrified of his future. I am scared that if his stuttering is anything above mild he will have to endure the pain and difficulty throughout his life just like me or even worse. He started feeling shy of speaking and other kids are noticing or making fun of him sometimes. His emotions are all over the place. I am truly sorry my little one for passing this terrible gene to you. You don't deserve this .
