Some people has avoidance behaviour but does tremendous effort´s getting out of they comfort zone trying to dissolve their stuttering issues: Speaking about their emotions and traumas, going to physicotherapy, speech patologuist, confronting their fears, talking to strangers, writting every single day and so on. **¿They do not deserve to be call brave as well?** Or is it only reserved for people that can stamble regardless the shame. Is it only reserved for your opinion. **¿¿¿¿Adults who are supposed to present strong for impressionable youths????** Adults can be confused, weak and helplesness too. Age is just a number. That saying is as dumb as saying "Men do not cry" It seems clear to me that you are speaking with anger and frustation. I take my hat off for feeling the shame of speaking with stuttering and going anyway. But that won´t dissolve your stuttering and for sure is not our fault.
