1. Yes i feel as if every stutter knows when they are stuttering and we each have our own ways of going through it. me personally, i can feel a stutter coming like 5 words before it comes and even before i start a conversation. 2. No, i don’t personally feel disrespected if someone finishes my words sometimes i wish i can thank them lol. as long as they don’t make me feel bad about it then im fine but it’s totally understandable if others feel disrespected. 3. i don’t feel obligated to let someone know i have a stutter. most times people just find out when they meet me and the one time i did let someone know prior they thought i was assuming they were being judgmental about them so after that i don’t give anyone a psa thanks for looking past your friends stutter and seeing that shes just as regular as anyone else. that’s all i ever wanted people to see me as. i don’t want my stutter to define who am i and im sure your friend feels the same. eventually she’ll become more comfortable around you and maybe her stutter becomes less common to the point where you don’t even notice it. that’s what my friends have said about me.
