I know I am three months late but... 1. As early as I can remember. 2. Yes through school. I regret to inform you that I simply cannot remember what they focused on. Personally I feel like I used to (and still) talk too fast. I want to say they tried to focus on getting me to slow down. 3. In the presence of authority or in a stressful situation. Authority could be anywhere from a cop or a lawyer or just my boss - who doesn't come off authoritative, but just is because of his position. 4. Nothing, really. Still searching. 5. My uncle has a stutter worse than mine, so my family is generally just... non-responsive. Patient. Understanding. I've been lucky enough in life that I haven't been mocked or made fun of for it. My coworkers are fine with it. I used to have one coworker, who I was pretty friendly with, and we'd always poke fun at eachother. I told him early on "hey listen, joke about whatever but not the stutter, it isn't something I can control" but unfortunately stuttered while saying it and it caused him to double over in laughter. 6. Be patient. Come up with a miracle treatment LOL I am an open book, feel free to follow up with more questions if you'd like.
