Sudden onset stutter 21yr old transman Hi everyone, I thought to come on here to share my thoughts! 6 days ago, I literally woke up in the morning, and all of a sudden stuttering and now I can't stop??? I am a trans man and I've been taking testosterone for almost 3 months. So, obviously my vocal cords and voice box is changing. I thinkIt's something to do with my vocal cords or voice box, I'm already getting evaluated for vocal cord dysfunction by an ENT so Testosterone is probably amplifying that by changing my vocal cords??? Idk could just be a theory. I have talked to other trans guys on testosterone and none of them has experienced this. I am neurodivergent. I did take speech for 5 years in elementary school due to grammar issues and everything but not for fluency or stuttering. Any advice or experiences are much appreciated!!
