My kid has all three. First letter repetition is his most common. The block sucks because the listener isn’t sure how to respond and their reaction adds to the stress. So it’s the awkward pause, they take over or I’ve even seen people walk away. If I’m close I can say, “he’s not finished yet. We need to listen.” And I then direct my attention back. What you have to say is worth hearing. Don’t let fluent assholes ruin your day. Your voice is beautiful. Be strong, resilient and speak your truth.
