Hello from Indiana! Question about the dating scene. Hey everyone, my name's Archie. I live in Fort Wayne, IN. I'm 23 and still in the dating scene. My ability to meet new girls has been very limited these past few years due to the field I chose in college. Engineering = Mostly dudes. My stuttering isn't too terrible. Just mainly have problems with talking to people I don't know on the phone, such as making appointments and stuff like that. My biggest problem is introducing myself. I have my biggest problem when I say my name or say, "my name is Archie." Stuttering has made me have very low confidence. I'd love to go up to a girl and say, Hi my name's Archie. But my stutter unfortunately doesn't allow me to do that easily, therefore I usually don't ever do it. Any ideas on how to conquer this feat? On a side note, if anyone is from Indiana or in my area, I'd love to talk with ya. I've never really had the opportunity to talk to anyone else that stutters.
