Sounds like BS. Anyone espousing a cure shouldn't be taken seriously because frankly, we don't know if it is a physical condition. (A lot of people, myself included, would say that their stutter is most likely psychological in origin) Right now there is now definitive cure and anyone claiming to have one is just relying on the placebo effect
