Glad your turning to help when you're having time. Slowly opening up and letting yourself stutter in front of other people is a huge step and the right direction. Be careful with voluntary stuttering. If you use it for fluency, you're going to find it'll wear off and not work when you're in a tough spot. Also, I think it's very important to have someone you can talk to and have comfortable support with, but remember that you are the expert on stuttering, not a graduate slp, especially if they don't stutter themselves.
