I still don't think it's selfish at all. It's his choice. It's not like he's killing someone lol, he just doesn't want the possibility of his kids suffering. For example, my dad is bipolar and has been to a psych ward. I have depression, stutter, anxiety and many more issues. I tried to intentionally overdose 2 years ago. There's just NO WAY I'm going to have children with my genes. Very often I wish I didn't exist so I wouldn't ever want my kids to go through the same thing. Sorry but it's definitely not selfish. Idk what would need to happen in order for me to want kids.
