I don't think that's fair at all. The person in the video is making causation claims (that aren't being presented as mere theories) that simply aren't founded and haven't been proven. This is how misinformation spreads. If this is something you want to believe, then that is perfectly fine, but skepticism is likewise understandable and it's important to make the distinction between belief and fact.
