The problem with those 2 examples is you can replicate blindness or paralysis in mice. You can’t do the same with a stutter. I interned at Mayo Clinic and spoke to the director of their deep brain stimulation lab cus he wanted to discuss my stutter and this is what he told me. It’s possible deep brain stimulation can cure stutters but there isn’t any way to replicate a stutter in a test animal, so we can’t find out. AI isn’t gonna do anything.
