Do I have a bad therapist?

Do I have a bad therapist? Warning: I don´t have skills on english grammar or redaction. I am a stutter as long as I can remember, I´ve been with three different therapist, the first two does not count much since I was very unaware about my problem and I didn´t feel the need of a therapist, I just was there because of my parents... Now I´m 25, and a more mature person, so I wanted to give it a try, it was my decision (a little encouraged by my GF) to visit a therapist and this time I was more open and more willing to help myself, to hear and follow any indication to improve my fluency. So I started the therapy, 6 months ago, at first he made it clear that there are not easy tricks to solve my problem, and then every other session was about me talking about my new and old problems, he barely comented something in between, like asking me how did I feel about it or what was my theory for me talking like that on certain situation, but mostly he did not say anything until the last 5-8 minutes. He almost never make any direct question, he just wanted me to tell him whatever crossed my mind. I took a break from therapy since December, but I´m not sure if I should return and resume the theraphy, or look for a different therapist. It is possible that this is a way of therapy? Is he just a lazy ass psychologist? do I have to little time with him to make assumptions? Should I visit a different person? Any help is welcome.
