I am in week 3 of taking valium every day along with .5mg xanax for "stressful situations" and I will say it really has helped me. I am in a foreign country studying German, so ordering at restaurants would normally be an extremely stressful situation for me, but I have honestly been doing pretty great the last couple weeks. If anxiety is amplifying your stuttering, I would look into trying valium. You take it every day and after a month it's supposed to permanently lower your anxiety levels. Xanax is a 2-3hr bandaid basically, but it is much stronger. Albiet addictive. Good luck, message me if you have any questions.
