Something that has helped me through situations like this is that no one cares about it nearly as much as you do. It will always be scary and frustrating to be in new situations, but most people really don't care about how you speak. Sure, there will always be someone who giggles or tries to finish your words. But most people are decent and normal and will give you the time to say what you need to say. I think the hardest part will be learning how to deal with the few people who aren't nice about it. I'm still working on that one. But think of it like this: the WORST thing that can happen is that someone may be rude. I have a feeling those people will be few and far between, though. Best of luck to you! College can be a really great experience if you allow it!
