For those who's anxiety affects their stutter and found ways to manage it, how did you do it? I have come to the conclusion/opinion that my stutter is based on my level of anxiety/feeling and it gets worse depending on the sevrity of the anxiety. For example, when I'm at home, not really thinking and talking to my gf or family, I stutter less. Howver, if I'm talking about an anixous topic it gets worse. This goes double for situations where I meet new people, interviews, and talk to strangers. I believe it's because of the anxiety build-up and fears associated with it. Like if I'm meeting someone new, introducting myself makes my HR skyrocket and I struggle. At home? I can talk with minimal stuttering to the point where my gf has pointed out that she could tell that I was nervous because I stuttered more. Does anyone else deal with this kind of stutter and managed it? How did you do it?
