Hi! I’m teacher and have several students who stutter. First, not sure where you go to school but you likely qualify for an IEP if your disfluencies impact you ability to participate in discussions or presentations. You likely need to have your parents submit a written request for an evaluation by the SLP. Depending on where you live there are different rules about how/when the school has to respond to the request. Second, you should disclose your stutter to your teachers in advance if doing so will reduce your anxiety around it. Most literature on this topic indicates that it is an individual decision. Some adults disclose this info to everyone they interact with as it reduces their personal anxiety/stress around it. Basically, if it makes you feel better you should do it.
