I think that preparing what you might say in certain situations can lessen the anxiety of speaking. You can probably anticipate a majority of what they'll ask you (where you grew up, how you met, etc) and think of how you might respond before hand. I don't know if there will be drinking involved, but some stutters find that having a few drinks help. A technique that I've learned is called phrasing, where you blend the sounds of words together. Its suppose to mimic the effect of singing on your vocal cords because you have a harder time stuttering when you sing. There was a link to a TEDx video on here a few weeks ago about a stutterer who was fluent when she sang.
