>when I stutter and I can sense a reaction incoming, I IMMEDIATELY begin another sentence or ask them a question I see 2 dangers for me, here: 1. If something needs to be done with a rush of speed in order to work, I'd worry about being able to actually carry it out without stuttering. 2. If I need to quickly abandon something I was doing, I'd worry about losing the original intent/content of my communication. I tend to just focus on my own part of the communication. I can't control others, and I shouldn't let it interfere with my purpose. But of course, it's good you've found a way that works for you. :) These were just my thoughts.
