I wouldn't say lesser since as someone else said in this thread  "Just as you will likely not also date a blind, cripple or mute person." They reacted how we might react to people with more debilitating conditions we don't experience. Not saying we should disrespect people. I can understand why they think that since we only understand from our perspective and not theirs, other people with more disabling constions than us. Again not trying to invalidate  stutterers but I can see why she said what she said.
