I'm a lecturer at a local IT college. At first, I was petrified of actually doing the lectures. After a while I got the hang of it. My students are very accepting and very patient. I haven't heard of any complaints, and as someone already mentioned - they are free and encouraged to ask me to repeat something if they didn't get it. The trick (at least for me) was to just dive head first into it and go with it. It took me a few days to lose the nervousness before each lecture, but eventually I got through - and it's helped me immeasurably in day-to-day life as well
