i keep delaying because i have too much to write but let me start with something. Theres no real rule on whether to disclose or not to disclose (tell them you stutter). However I would not recommend telling them before the interview date is actually set. And I wouldn't do it until the actual interview anyway, if you so choose. Just do what will make you most comfortable. Remember, the more comfortable you are, the most comfortable they will be. there'll be better rapport. plus they want you to be comfortable. If you do disclose though, DONT BE TIMID about it. Timid isn't the right word, but the choice phrase I and others use is "Disclose with confidence". Dont make it sound like a crutch or something you cant handle if you decide to bring it up. Here's an example of my basic disclosure. "Before we start, I would just like to let you know that I have a stutter. So if you have any questions about it or ever need me to repeat something, please dont hesitate to ask." You can add whatever variation you want. You can add, "I have a stutter but I am confident it will not affect my ability to do this job blah blah blah" You can word it as you see fit. Just remember, if its not a big deal to you (or you dont show its a big deal to you), it wont be a big deal to them.
