See im the opposite of this. Growing up as a child to teenager i never had a real stuttering issue. Mines was always mild until that one day when i was around 18 or 17 when a friend made a joke about my mild stutter in front of of people. I felt embarrassed and stupid and so after that day i tried to not speak with any of my mild stuttering which was little repetitive sounds every once in awhile. When i decided to change that is the day i started to actually really stutter with the hard blocks and that dreaded anticipation or whatever feeling i get when i feel a block coming.
