You change yourself, for yourself. Again, I said I don't have a problem with the 'accept it' people and you are clearly one of them. Pretend your fat, but you don't care (which I would find hard to believe) so you 'accept it'. Now you are a fat person in society haha. You are less healthy than other individuals meaning you are prone to diseases such as obesity, diabetes, heart problems, etc. and as a result you lose some sexual competence among your peers. Not to mention the insecurities and events you avoid due to your fatness (the same with speech - we avid situations that require speaking). So you can either accept it, or you can lose weight? and reverse all of that? And get some social recognition? It would make sense to lose weight, no? You can (potentially) change your speech the same way and reverse the course of all of the negative things that come with stuttering - that is solely my hope and ambition. In regards to you justifying the rants, I could care less. I don't come here to hear about how bad it is that people have it because they stutter. I seriously don't care. I care about the people who rise above and overcome their stutter. That is virtuous. That takes discipline. That takes courage. That is a hero. Coming here and seeing people complaining about how bad they have it, yeah I want to see that man haha. Love that. It's not 'society's problem' it is a problem in general. We are ONE PERCENT of the population - I hope you realize from that stat alone that it isn't a societal prejudice it is an inconvenience and unnatural. Someone who can speak and articulate their being is someone to admire, it is impressive. I understand your feelings of 'why can't people wait for me to finish a sentence' etc. I get that. Especially if you are a severe stutterer. I have no idea what to say about that, I would obviously hope that fluent people can get past the incidents that stutterers face and the stutterer not feel publicly ashamed. Anyways there is no convincing you and I don't want to go back and forth. I'm glad you accept your speech and don't want to improve anymore or at all. Goodluck with everything man :)
