I don't know the extent of your stutter but my advice is prep, prep, and more prep. The advantage of a phone interview is you can use notes as prompts, and even read from them, without the interviewer knowing. That will at least stop you from freezing up if/when you begin to stutter. The first question is usually "why do you want the job?", or similar. Write out the answer and recite it over and over to get used to the words. Giving a confident first answer will give you a positive rhythm to continue. The rest of the questions will be related to the job description. Research the role thoroughly to try and guess what they will ask, and the person they want. Again, use notes as prompts to keep your brain on track. Buy some bach flower remedies to settle the nerves beforehand. I hope this helps. Let us know how you get on. ❤️
