This entire post is ludicrous! Sorry, I do not agree at all. I am a severe stutterer of 28 yrs and my tongue even protrudes at times and this "benefits" is similar to a beaten wife saying her husband keeps her "in line." This is a band aid. Now go work in call center. Go approach a girl/boy in a crowded bar. I have lost girlfriends, gotten into fights, being persecuted and ostracized in my youth due to it. I have lost jobs and been fired due to it. This is a serious disorder that affects so many people. We like everything else, need to be more focused on ways to fix it than living with it. We have as many benefits as a cripple has in a wheelchair. What would you do if you didn't stutter? If you woke up tomorrow and it was gone? How much would you do and do different? Think like that instead and move forward and help us find a way to fix it! There must be a way!
