It gave me a lot of techniques, whether it was syllabic speech, ERASM, or just reducing my secondary behaviors. My stutter was very strong when I was eleven, I repeated myself very often, I tapped my foot to get my words out, I had infernal blocks that made me tense up with grimaces that I couldn't reproduce on purpose. Now I still have some repetitions and some blocks but much less than before, and much more manageable by techniques if I really want to. It also allowed me to talk to people more, whether it's on the phone, in groups, for presentations or just with friends. I'm not the most sociable person either, but if I want or need to talk to people I won't let my stutter stop me. I think my current stutter would have been ten times worse without her work, and I am very grateful to her for that.
