I don't get why you wouldn't have personality? Instead of going out in high-school I've spent numerous evenings watching youtube videos and TV series developing way deeper interests than others and having a better career. I listen more than I speak (which is actually making the other people feel better), I pick my words and try to say things at the right time, which is actually giving me a higher signal to noise ratio. And besides I'm sick of people who only talk and don't act. Personality is judged by your actions more than your words.
