I have a daughter that started to stutter and it’s been more than a year now. Your story is very helpful because as a parent I will now help her accept it instead of trying fixing it. I’ll Let her know that it’s normal and that some people just have a stutter. Thank you for your post it really gave me insight on how to move forward with my daughters stutter. Have you now accepted that the stutter doesn’t define who you are and that some people just stutter? And it’s perfectly fine?
