If he were comfortable with his speech I would be okay with it- honestly. My brother is okay with his stutter to this day and while it may hurt me to hear it- Im grateful he’s at peace with it. My son isn’t. He is bothered. He’ll text instead of talking on especially difficult days. He’ll become obviously frustrated and so when you see it- as a parent I feel it my responsibility to help him be his best self.
