My husband is 42 and has a prominent stutter. One of our 2 children also stutters and has just started therapy. It sounds like you have a loving family who will support you no matter what you decide but as everyone has said, don’t let your stutter be the reason behind the decision. When I met my husband, he introduced himself and said his name, age and added “and I have a stutter that you’ll meet soon” 😂 I found it so honestly refreshing and the rest of history. The kids decision is harder, I understand, having said that, I look at my children and I know without a doubt that their lives are 100000% better because of the amazing dad they have. The stutter doesn’t even factor in. I hope you are able to find happiness no matter what you decide x
