I can’t remember the figures but me and my girlfriend did some research because I was didn’t want to pass my stutter down to my kids. Luckily for men, the chances of passing down the gene is extremely rare. It’s mainly the mother who passes down the stutter which makes sense because my mum has one and gave me mine, whereas her brother (my uncle who also stutters) has two kids who both don’t stutter. My grandpas dad also had one but it wasn’t passed down to grandpa. So if youre a guy, which I’m assuming you are since the majority of stutters are. Don’t worry about it being passed down genetically. My main worry about having kids is being too anxious about speaking when around my kids. I don’t want to be a bad influence
