im sorry but that's not going to work. In fact, it's just going to continue to lead you down the path of fear. If you do anything to reduce stuttering (aka stutter less), you are likely reinforcing the belief that stuttering is bad and must be avoided. The pathway to being comfortable and ok with stuttering usually involves stuttering more. Not holding back due to fear or embarrassment and just letting the stuttering happen and see that the world doesn't end, people dont run away, and it's really not a big deal. And this involves a lot of doing, not really thinking. Check the stuttertalk episodes with Robert Dellinger and Vivian Sisskin.
