There are people out there who care about your stutter a lot less than you. If you have other things to offer and they're patient/you're patient, they will see it. If you think you're stutter is the be all end all and nothing else matters, then that's going to be true too. I know several severe stutterers who are in good relationships. I'd seek out community with other people who stutter so you can see positive examples. The NSA conference this summer is a good example.
