its sounds like you dont really want fluency, you want to be able to not feel so embarrassed and having talking be so hard anymore. Well you can do that without haing to be fluent. Those issues are in the way you feel, not the way you talk. You cant totally just stop stuttering. I can say with the experience that the desire for fluency is often the cause of our disfluency, because it brings with it all extra emotional baggage.
