Not a parent and will never be one. I don't want to bring a child into this environment. The economy sucks, the majority of people out there are shitty to one another, and schooling is a horrendous experience for most. If you will be 100% dedicated to your child's speech including the psychological aspect of it, perhaps the child wouldn't mind stuttering too much. But, if you intend to not take his/her stuttering seriously then don't have a child. If the child doesn't stutter..then good job you didn't pass on the shitbox gene and you should sigh in relief. I'm not sure what the transfer rate is of stuttering from parent to child. Could be low or high. Just be prepared to do what you have to do if the unfortunate happens and the child stutters.
