Stutter only when saying your name/introducing yourself?

Stutter only when saying your name/introducing yourself? I recently found this subreddit and haven't seen discussion on this particular issue, so I'm wondering whether it is unique to myself or if anyone else is experiencing this. I've had a mild stutter all my life, but it was more prominent when I was a kid. I did speech therapy for a time and it lessened the stuttering to the extent that now I rarely stutter in conversations, and when I do, I've developed techniques such that it's not very noticeable. However, I almost always stutter when I say my name or when I introduce myself. It's very frustrating because I shy away from certain events or situations when I might have to introduce myself. This can be lessened somewhat if I add "My name is" before my name, but there's still a 50/50 shot I'll block when saying my name. Does anyone else experience something similar to this? I understand that most people who stutter will also stutter when introducing themselves, but this is the only situation in which I consistently stutter, and it is very frustrating. For background info, I'm male, 25.
