My recommendation (and there are other SLPs here who can better help like iciaguy or a couple others) is to start just talking with the pws. You're not going to be able to "fix" them by giving them some exact treatment plan, so start off just talking with them and getting to know them. I think they would like this a lot more anyway, especially since it builds the client/therapist relationship, which is crucial to success in therapy. And during this you can listen to their concerns, observe their speech patterns, start thinking about which areas you think need the most work, ask them what they're looking for, then go from there.
