I absolutely agree with nukefudge , stuttering is not to be blamed on the stutterer. Its not his fault , he isnt doing it voluntarily. But what i meant was to reduce the tension in stuttering to the most minimum level possible. Instead of struggling through a block , just let the block happen and do not resist , that way you can manage your blocks better. Forcing the words out only serves to the block and makes it more severe in most cases. Its a a bitter truth that we are not gifted when it comes to speaking effortlessly and fluently unlike most of the general population who take speech for granted. Theres no getting away from the permanency of the neurological component but we can atleast take baby steps to make this already debilitating disorder a bit less debilitating and disabling
