Yes, I do this to myself often. Whenever I stop worrying about stuttering, i do not stutter. I just have to not think about it and take my time. My stutter is caused by anxiety, as my brain thinks faster than my mouth can process which causes the stutter. The moment someone starts talking to me, my brain starts practicing my reply and my body cannot keep up. Slowing down, taking my time, being present, and not thinking about it works wonders for me!
