Most of the ones who do adult stuttering don't even get it. You're learning one of the biggest lessons in how hard it is to find a qualified slp for stuttering. But the search is worth it. Really try to find an slp who specializes in stuttering (they're usually board certified in fluency disorders). The NSA website should have a link of recommended slps by state. Check that out
