One of my mates has a pretty severe stutter, but every time I try to talk to him about it, he shuts down and avoids any conversation about it. I guess it makes him uncomfortable, which is fine. I just thought being a fellow stutterer he would be more open to talking about it with me and sharing experiences. Each to their own I guess. I don’t hold it against him. We’ve been mates since we were teens too.
