Remind yourself why you're doing the warm ups and why you want to do them. Similar to working out, consistency and motivation are important. Make it part of your lifestyle. You're not a stutterer looking to improve by following a therapist's assignments. You're a stutterer who is improving because he's the type of person to work for it and the therapist is just providing the knowledge of how to do so.
