They do and they don’t. In the short term, they do, in the sense that the stutter affects the conversation and people can react emotionally to that, which can end up hurting you . But in the greater scheme of things, no one who doesn’t stutter gives a fuck about stuttering. They’re all wrapped up in their own problems, which they’re convinced are the worst problems ever.
