Ironically you indirectly admitted what the purpose of life was within your comment which is to reduce suffering and to maximise the desire to exist via happiness and pleasure. In truth, the quanta and medium of mortality is dictated by the utility of pain. Even Gods/Allah words are contingent upon this notion, while the utility of pain is independent to divine revelation. Simply swap heaven and hell around and belief in god would be considered wrong. If God permits pain that prevents no greater harm, then this act is indefensible and immoral; if maximising greater good or salvation requires pain by design, His omnipotence is in doubt. You can’t have both. Tests have no intrinsic value; they only purely show expertise. For an omniscient God, that’s meaningless. I particularly hate this notion as it cheapens pain while justifying suffering.
