In my experience, my fluency with anticipations depends on my confidence level in that moment. If I anticipate that I will stutter but I feel confident, I tell myself "Yes, I might stutter, but so what if I do?" and remind myself of the realisation that people don't judge/actually care if you stutter as much as you might think they do. With my confidence in this mindset, I often speak fluently. The challenge is maintaining this mindset, some days I'm confident that I can speak fluently, other days i'm not. Currently working on building that confidence and I am happy to say that I definitely see progress in my fluency.
