I can't speak for the mod team but I can assume it would most likely be for violating rules 2 and 3 of the sub... 2. Be respectful and supportive at all times. No harassment, sexualization or trolling of any kind. 3. Posts promoting the treatment must include research or evidence-based practice. No cures. There is no known cure for stuttering that works 100% for everyone. Refrain from using the word CURE in posts. Secondary would be for violating rules 4 and 8 regarding drugs or medication. Rule 3 probably gets violated first. Most of the time the post says they cured or fixed their stutter and that they now speak totally fluently. Nobody speaks totally fluently, even non-stutterers. It's a medically accepted fact that there is no cure for stuttering. To say that you've cured yours without providing evidence to support the treatment methods you used is against the rules. Then, when they inevitably get push back here they usually respond with violations of rule #2. >2-3 hours meditation every day for 1 year. It reduced OP's anxiety, and totally removed the stuttering. I remember this one. He repeatedly used the word "cure". That guy kept insisting that all *anybody* needed to do was meditate. He was completely dismissive of any kind of research, treatment, or speech therapy by trained SLP professionals. I personally and repeatedly asked him to provide links to research to support his claim that meditation can cure stuttering and he never provided any. He became completely belligerent in the comments to anybody who pressed him for more details on what he did to cure his stuttering.
