Hi! Growing up I don’t remember dwelling on my stutter or being as aware of it as I am now. I would go through phases every few months where I wouldn’t stutter at all, and some where I would stutter more. I don’t know what causes this, right now I’m in my stuttering really bad era lol. I have always worked in sales and I think I did a pretty good job covering up/ hiding my stutter for the most part. I think I try to use confidence to mask it or smile it off. I have a few close friends and they all know that I stutter so it makes it easier to talk and not try to hide it. My fiance and I have been together for 3 years and I told him when we met about my stutter and it has never bothered him. He helps finish my sentences which I like, and he always knows what I’m about to say when I’m stuttering so I guess he knows me really well lol. I’m now a stay at home mom to a 5 month old little girl and I have a work from home job doing bookkeeping for a local business. :)
